Last night’s show in Eagle, CO for their local Concert series in Eagle Town Park was so much fun! The weather was perfect and the stage was awesome!! 1,000 or so people showed up with their picnic dinners to hear us play! They danced and sang along! I think Eagle likes country music! One of my favorite things is watching all of the little kiddos dancing at the front of the stage and watching their faces of curiosity and excitement! And then when the shows are over being swarmed by them for hugs, autographs and pictures! I absolutely love the thought that somehow I might be inspiring another little singer in the making! We sold more CD’s and gained more fans! I feel blessed to be able to have a platform to share music with people who love it just as much as I do! They bless me and humble me continually! And it was great to meet the mayor of Eagle, Yuri Kostick. He was a fan of what we did! Maybe we will just get asked back again! God Bless You guys!!
We had such an amazing time at the First & Main Town Center Summer Concert Series! You Colorado Springs folks love country music which makes it all that more fun to perform! We started out the day with doing a live TV interview with KRDO News Channel 13 to promote the show! Super fun and they were so welcoming there at the station! Although, I thought the promotion spot was supposed to be just a radio interview, not a live TV spot, oops, probably shouldn’t have worn my cut off jean shorts and cowgirl boots! Oh well! Atleast I was comfy! After that, we headed off to set up on the mobile stage at First & Main Town Center! We rocked that stage with some country music! Sold a bunch of CD’s and made some new friends and fans! We definitely hope to be back! THANK YOU Colorado Springs for your awesome turn out and support for us!! You guys rock!!
Today was a fun day filled with shows! Rhythm on the River in Longmont, Colorado had the BEST crowd ever! We would have played the rest of the day if we could have! Then we were headed up the mountain to Estes Park, Colorado to play the Queen’s Dance at the Rooftop Rodeo. We had the dance floor filled and made some new friends/fans! And Estes Park is beautiful!
God Bless our beautiful country and many thanks to all of our brave heroes that help protect this great land so we can have our freedom! Happy 4th of July, friends! Also, a big thanks to the charming little mountain town, Meeker, Colorado, for letting us celebrate tonight with you! We will see you guys tomorrow night too after the Chris Cagle concert!
